Where to buy Winchester Model 70 in Canada?

I've been searching for a new Winchester Model 70 in Canada, but can't seem to find what I'm looking for...
Does anyone here know of a retailer in Canada that carries the Ultimate Shadow in .270 Win, or a model along those line?
Cabelas has the Extreme Weather, but that's a bit over my budget unfortunately, and they only have it in .270 WSM.
Sorry about this being my first post, and already asking for your help, so flame away if you wish..
 
If you are blessed with a lot of gun shops in your area then it appears it's not a problem. I was looking for a M70 270 featherweight last spring and couldn't find one on the EE or locally in that calibre. I was told by one dealer that they mostly stock 300wsm and 270wsm because thats what people want these days. I called cabelas, none there, called WS and the guy said he had none but then he said, no wait, I have one in SS with a wood stock so I got it. Then, before I received it, one showed up on the EE that was almost new. That's the way it goes sometimes.
 
thanks for the link to that site there, jackrabbit. Maybe will have to reconsider going with a WSM.
Sail doesn't seem to even carry the M70, while Lebaron, you've got to first order their catalogue, so I don't know if they carry them.
Anyway, thanks for the leads so for, keep em coming...

Both places carry them. Was looking at one in Sail last week. If you are going by their online catalog....it sux I can't even bother wasting my time. Just walk into the store or call.
That being said this is a bad time of the year to be looking for a specific gun in a NIB only store. Their stocks are low after the hunting season.
 
Bass Pro in Vaughan has them in a couple calibres most times. Usually right around now or boxing day they have a sale on them about a $100.00 off.

Tromblays in Orillia also had a couple in stock as well.

They're actually not available in Canada.




















Except at WSS, Cabela's, Reliable, Prairie Gun Traders, Epps, Prophet River...pretty much everywhere that deals in long brown boxes.
