Ruger SR1911 Fail to Feed

Did you try filling your mags with ammo and letting them sit for a week or two? Thats what I did to break mine in. Havent had any problems with mine. I have an STI Spartan. One factory mag and two Wilson Combats. They seem to be about the most popular out there. Also heard good things about Mech-Gar mags.
 
So thanks for all the comments and suggestions. The problem turned out to be a little piece of label stuck in the 8 round mag. Cleaned it out and fired 150 rounds through both mags with no issues what so ever. So for those with a new SR1911 I am NOT telling you to the remove the warning labels from the mags before shooting however if you do you may avoid some feeding issues. Couldn't be happier with the gun. Shoots well and apart from that initial hick-up, which I can't blame the gun for, is reliable as could be. Time to move on to developing my own loads.

Glad you figured it out, i figured it was a mag issue, but didnt think it would be a piece of paper lol.
