I just bought 2 old Rem 870 wingmaster. They are well used shotguns, but they'll be my winter project.

One was made in 1969 and the other 1983. They are both 18" barrel with wood stock/fore end.

I'll post picture from the begining to the end. i'll restore one in it's original configuration and the other will be "tactical"

I emailed remington with the serials numbers. It's as simple as that ;)

They are well used..... Internally they are in good condition as they were truck guns..... A lot of milleage on the finish but low round count.

The original look is still my favorite, but it's addictive, and wingmasters run forever and anything that does go wrong can easily be replaced. Have fun.

We all got the same deal.... Lol

At the price they were selling I bought 2.

Now I'm waiting for them.

Mines synthetic with 18" barrel.. bluing is rough; carried alot but rarely shot. I stripped and cleaned everything and it feels nearly new - action is barely even broken in.. Now I'm deciding which angle to go with it..

I almost bought FOUR... but I only bought two in the end... thought I'd save some for you goofs. :)

I have enough tactical builds... these are going to be hunting/loaner shotguns.

You already got it???

My 2 870 will probably ship tomorow.

I bought the wood version because Zi already have some over synthetic.

Here my last build. I also have a new wingmaster 28" that I use for skeet and hunting. With theses I'll have 4 of them

Yep I got mine on the weekend, I picked it up as I only live half an hour from the source. I was very pleased - at that pricepoint I wasn't expecting much but when I saw it and looked it over I think its my best purchase of the year. I have a newer wingmaster also, 26" with hardwood so the synthetic is my brush gun now. Nice build! How's the folding stock ? Looks a bit painful for slugs..

The folding stock is good looking, but painful for anything bigger that #7 birdshot...... Anyway I'm more a pistol and AR15 shooter. I don't shoot my 870s very often.
