Will a Sav Model 10 Bolt Handle fit on an Axis?

I like the size and shape of the model 10 better if it will fit im gonna pick one up.

Nope. You would have to cut the knob off the axis and thread it for a new knob. Thats about all you can do with it

Does the axis share the same "bolt on" style handle with any other savages
I have seen aftermarket handles for the axis I just dont like them as much as the model 10

Read that its something complete different. Where are these aftermarket axis handles? First I'm hearing of this

Ive done some more reserch on this topic and found that it will bolt on and appear to function properly but does not give any primary extraction. Some companys where for a while advertising model 10 bolt handles to fit Axis's but have now stoped.

I believe this is correct. There is a thread on Sav shooters on this very subject. Check it out. I am looking for some type of extension for my bolt handle as I am tired of smashing my thumb into my scope.
