The release actually still works, but the tab has broken off, as you can see. Anyone point me to where I can buy a new one?

Wolverine would be my recommendation. Or One Shot Tactical Supply. Between the two of them they should have some parts.

Or the EE.

If neither of the two aforementioned shops have your part, try P&D, they have a small parts bin for the AR platform.

It's an easy part to replace. You just risk to scratch your lower. Put electric tape and ask your wife to help you. You kinda need 2 set of harms to do it right lol. Youtube is your friend.

You can get it at wolverine, Arms East, Brownell's ans any other store that sell AR15 parts.

Brownells has a similar one.

Found it for ya. This one is made by DPMS:

colt is a great gun for 1000-1200$ (american prices) but at close to two grand in canada definitely not worth it when you compare to guns that are around the same price thats have better features. (daniel defense, BCM etc)

Irunguns.....you no longer have to pay $2k for a Colt in Canada...

First, that is not a Colt part. Colt AR15 rifles and carbines come with the standard mil-spec bolt catch (they also do not come with painted/filled in markings).

Second, Colt AR15 rifles are now available in Canada from us from as low as C$1499.99.

Hey everyone. This is NOT A Colt made part. Cut the bull#### already.

Wolverine has Daniel Defense mil-spec bolt catches (the only thing that should have been on this lower, btw) in stock.
