Was reading somewhere Beretta might be coming out with a non res. storm carbine in the new year. was thinkg this looks dam near perfect for the military shoots we do up here.
-any info on B.Storm as a rifle + weather or not a 19" version is coming out would be appreciated

I just had Dlask arms make mine a new barrel 45acp storm non restricted only one in the country at that time. They had to make a new FRT number for it. They had 9mm and 40 cal but no 45 acp. I went with a match grade bull barrel and man it shoots way better then the factory barrel night and day. It took a while to get the barrel blank as most companys don't make 45acp barrels 18.5 inchs long they have 16 but nothing longer. It's a 1 off production from the factory that makes barrel blanks.

Check out Grouse rivers site.
They list a non restricted version but I don't believe they have them yet.

Same with lebarons, $1100 and change, mid December they state. Only thing ####ty I hear about them is the trigger...

You pay more at some dealers, but not really because, you often recieved an extra mag and and extra rail, at the end, you gain, the real bargain is not in the money #, it is more in the value you get for your dollar... JP.... JP.

I just brought this one from Lebaron. $975, top rail, tri-rail and 2x10rd mags. Looks like a price war is on.

If you don't mind the restricted status, Wolverine is blowing out theirs for $599! They have 4 left as I'm writing this...

I think you'll be hard pressed to find a NR version right now. Think most retailers are now sold out.

I think this goes to show how much of a growing interest there IS in modern NR rifles. The hassle of owning/storing/transporting/shooting a restricted rifle is, to me, just not worth it. If I were a hand gunner, that would be different, perhaps.

Wholesale Sports in Edmonton (North store) had one left as of Saturday the 14th. Maybe still there?? Price $1079.99 + tax = $1033.00

Trigger pull measured 8 lbs. on the example I fondled. The factory trigger pull may simply get better with use, but is heavy because the hammer is Polymer and weighs much less than it would made of steel. Hence it needs a stronger hammer spring to impart the neccessary force to the firing pin.

sierrapapacx4.com has aftermarket triggers, hammer, hammer springs should one feel the need for a more precise trigger system.

Any range report out yet? Heard many positive review on those but would like to know any accuracy different on longer barrel.

Well just picked up mine about 2hrs ago. They had 10 in the shipment and I had first dib. Great looking NR short 9mm rifle. The bad is that the box they ship in does'nt secure the mags and they go all over the place during transport witch causes blemishes and scratches on the barrel finish. The bolt lever also go completly through the box and gets banged up. I was lucky to open 7 boxes to find this one in perfect condition. Can't wait to try it out at the range!

Here's a quick pic I just took of the package:
