Lets see your T97 upgrades and rails

I just bought a new T97 and was wondering what everyone is doing for scope mounts and visual stuff.

Also I find the mag release to be awkward so if there are some cool mods out there that I may be interested in would be appreciated.

Got mine the other day & am pretty sure I've figured out how to make my own over travel stop. Will post pictures after I have accomplished.

Over travel is when the trigger cotinues to go back after the trigger break. The less of it the better because it can afect accuracy negatively.

Mine as well, if I could get another T97 uber cheap, I would do it all up with the T97.ca mods, or if there was parts available so that it didn't have to be a non-reversible mod.

I had the chance to handle the upper fitted to a T97 a while ago - everyone who's getting one will be very pleased, they make the gun handle much more quickly and make the gun seem more compact too.

What is the lower grip on this rifle exactly that you added? how do they manage to mount that kind of mod?

I just drilled lower handguard and mounted a piece of rail then installed Magpul AFG. I tried the vertical grip too. I liked it. I just thought the AFG seemed like a better fit. Trying to keep it sleek and compact.

I imagine the lower forestock was removed, and a piece of rail was lined up and marked. Drill a couple of holes (a little smaller that the screws) so it can tap itself in. Voila, install grip of choice on the new rail!
