Does Tikka come with rings?

I just received my new T3 lite in the mail and expected to see some rings in the box, but nope. I was wondering if they should be in there. It was obviously on the shelf at the dealers, as I can see it was repackaged.

No they do not. Most guns don't come with rings.

The T3 hunter in .308 that i bought from prophet river had rings with it. Was quite surprise!

Yes that's right; but if you phone or write the distributor with the serial number etc , they may give you a Tikka cap if you ask nice.

My friend in states got 30-06 Tikka with rings and they turned out to be really bad. He replaced them with leupolds and could not be happier.

IMO get a set of leupold.

Make sure you get good rings if you are shooting a magnum. I had a set of rings that clamped to the dovetail on my T3 338wm, they sheared off and dented my scope from the recoil. I recommend the 1 piece Talley rings/bases, they have stood up well on my T3.
