Am wondering what gunnutz here remember about their best ever combination of trigger and action in a rifle they have had...present or past ?
My expectation is to see a lot of votes for Sako, but there may be some surprises out there.
Guess mine would have to be Tikka model 55 deluxe.

Kimber 84M and I've owned many high-end rifles over the years.
Most folks will tell you a quality push-feed is smoother than your typical CRF anyday, but even the Tikka T3's in the safe got nothin' on that 84M,trigger included.
I'm talking cocking, feeding, firing and ejecting cartridges and repeating BTW, not just cycling the action with an empty mag as that is NOT a reliable indication of overall smoothness and function of a bolt action rifle.

For action and trigger; Blaser R93, nothing I've had compares.

Besides that, Kimber has one of the best factory triggers out there, Tikka and Sako are also nice.
Smoothest bolt after Blaser would be Sauer 80/90,some Rem 700's and Tikka M595/695.
Worst bolt: Rem 700 Ti
Worst trigger: Savage Accutrigger

My two cents.

Voere Titan II by far. Steyr-Mannlicher Luxus is in second and stuff like the Tikka T3 and the various Sako models are not even close.

Nobody can agree with me because i am the only individual shooting one but my takedown have the best and sweethest trigger and the action is beyond extra precise, so far this one take it all... JP.

Thank Goodness. Finally, someone agrees with me. Accutrigger = WORST TRIGGER EVER!! Thanks bearkilr. God, it sucks so bad

And they probably won't disagree with you either since they don't have a clue what you're talking about. You'll need to be a bit more specific when you mention "takedown". It could be a custom Westley Richards or a Browning BLR with a homemade plywood stock? :D

At least 100,000 members of the total know of wich rifle i am talking about and you know it to, but for the few that dont know, i am talking about my legendary Nemesis Vanquish 308... JP.

My best out of the box triggers are Kimbers, with Coopers coming in second. My best triggers are Jewels.Smoothest action by far in my herd is a Anschutz 1574 .308, but the best combination of the two just might be one particular Kimber. Or maybe a BAT actioned custom with a Jewel trigger.

Sako isn't even in the running, although I like mine well enough.

Now wasn't it easier to just post the name? I've quit reading the posts about your daily acquisitions a long time ago, so I had no idea which one you were referring to. Guess I'm in that over 100,000 group.

Would you have shoot it once, you would have understand what a game changer is....JP.

I agree with you as well. I have no use at all for those multi piece triggers.

As for my own choice of best trigger/action, I will go with Cooper.

Fully agreed, Kimber. Well accept for the part of having Tikkas anywhere near my safe ;)
