No one seems to sell any loaded Beowulf rounds and id like to have at least 6 of them to prove my mags don't hold more then 5 rounds of what they are designed for. Anyone willing to part with 6 of them?

Cool thanks! Ill probably get 6 of those...although I think I real thing would be more convincing to a skeptical officer.

Just sell the mags to me for a fair price and problem solved ;)

I kid, the GS Designs dummy rounds are a great idea and will at least get you something in your hands for the time being at a fair price. I agree with you tho, if it was me I want the real things.

You could buy the mags I have if u wanted, they are in stock and available but cant be promoted on cgn.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, I think they have to prove they hold more than 5 more than you have to prove they don't.

I would prefer to save myself the hassle of having them confiscated for testing and the possibility of expensive legal bills resulting in being charged with having a prohibited device. I think it would be harder to explain .50 Beowulf when all you have on you is .223 on you and a mag that looks very similar to a .223 mag.

I carry a copy of the mag capacity limit laws from the RCMP website in my rangebag and I think they can probably read the writing on the side of the mag saying .50 Beowulf.
I only use LAR mags though because there is no way on Earth I will ever pay over $100 for a magazine that other than some writing on the side and maybe a different follower is identical to the mags I pay $20 for. $100 for 4-5 more rounds between reloads? No thanks. To each their own though, you guys go right ahead.

Yeah I carry a copy of that as well, just want the extra insurance. Also I only paid $50 for mine, be seems that they are all sold out now. Guess the only option is the EE now.

Hopefully someone in the area that reloads can make you a few dummy rounds then.
I'd try a WTB on the EE.
Good luck.

Did Alexander Arms totally drop the 5rd Beowulf magazines or something? There website shows 4,7 and 10 rounders, each one is only $26.40. Why are there mags no longer imported? There definitely doesn't appear to be a shortage in the US.

Ever consider that too many people are loud and proud of this " loophole " and now the po-po is taking a good long hard look at it and possibly not allowing anymore into the country until this " loophole " is addressed.

They didn't make a 5 rounder (as far as I know). Also, just about everything on their website is on massive backorder. If you look at other websites guys are waiting forever for product to be delivered. As for the mags...I can't for the life of me figure out what the holdup may be...CAA makes the polymer ones and I think they could pump them out rather quickly if needed.
