Holy ####, I am a convert, thanks Suputin. Based off of today I can think of 5 people, at least, that will be buying 300 BO rifles over the next year. More money, more money!
Definitely get yourself a brass catcher
That is the only thing holding me back....brass is not readily available, unless you want to cut down .223 brass

I'm one of those 5 converts....now just to figure out what gun I will buy a .300 in first! I handload, so loading for the .300 isn't an issue for me. It's being able to keep up with the loading that might be a concern!
Complete newb here, so I apologize if I offend, but if given the choice, why would someone choose the .300BLK over the 6.9SPC?
Honestly cutting down 223 is the best way. I have done both and the 221 FB option is way too expensive. I tend to keep the 221 origin brass for use in my bolt gun and run the 223 origin brass in the AR's.
Speak to Rookie{OMC} about brass forming. He has a way that is very quick and he did a ton of cases for me. Maybe he can start up a side business forming Blackout cases for customers.![]()
Hummm, might be in the cards for next year. I'll definitely need to pickup a brass catching for this puppy! I'd hate to go chasing down precious brass after every mag change. p
I've been tempted to make up a 300BLK upper but the issue with brass kinda kills it for me. Maybe I'll rethink it over again next spring.
I'd get one if there was a reasonable price for factory ammo...
