Prohib ####

that is what I mean.. have a list of members with 12.6 or other prohib status so that people know who to sell (low prices hopefully) to, who to trade with, and who to GIFT to... unless just out of spite they want to see their possessions destroyed by the establishment for no reason whatsoever! I have 5-6 prohibs of which 3 will just be gifted to whomever.. perhaps my gun club for training. the other ones are nice or unique enough to trade.
I have a really nice star model BM that I had hard satin chomed back in the day.. restocked with new wood, a really sweet piece.. BUT I always really wanted a star Firestar :) open to trade for a nice one

My prohib family;

Early model 4" Ruger SP 101 in .22LR

4" Colt Diamondback in .22LR

4" Ruger GP 100 in .357 Mag

:)My favorite, a 4" S&W model 29-2 in .44 Mag and sporting S&W factory ivory magna grips

And the latest addition to my prohib 'harem', a 4" S&W model 29-3 Elmer Keith Commemorative, in .44 Mag., and my one and only 'Safe Queen'.

I just picked up a 2" 9mm sp1o1 from an estate. I haven't shot it yet as the moon clips weren't with it and I had to order some in. The first one is my smith624 in 44 special

From L to R, S&W 59, 639, and Nickel 59. The Nickel 59 has a barrel over 105mm but I haven't turned in the paperwork yet. Once it gets reclassified (assuming it does) it will be for sale (and the reason I'm dragging my feet getting the paperwork in...selling a nice pistol is difficult).

I have a pre 27 version (they were called Registered Magnums back then) with the 3.5" bbl. They are a very nice revolver . - dan

Interesting. One of the many over the years that I had and parted with, :redface:foolishly, was a 3 1/2" 27. Any photos of yours you'd like to post??

Was yours marked as a Registered Magnum or was that a name they were given? If marked as such, when were they first designated and/or marked as a 27?
