VZ58 With a longer barrel?

Is it possible to get a VZ 58 barrel around 24" by any chance in 7.62x39? Or know a company that would be capable manufacturing one?

Considering the non restricted Vz 58s/Cz 858s barrels are already specially made for us, I doubt anyone produces barrels of such length. I suppose you could get one custom made though... Dlask could maybe do that.

Just be prepared to pay as much as you would for a complete rifle.

Then buy a barrel blank for twice the price if it makes you feel better.

You can buy a blank for $ 200 & you won't get a frosted, worn bore for your trouble. Better still, buy a take off 308 barrel from a remington or something along those lines & use that. Lots of precision dudes regularly replace barrels so you could get a real quality piece cheap.
