it means if you buy one of the sks deals you can also get the surplus ammo for 199, otherwise you cannot purchase it without buying the sks special i believe

That is correct, it has to be one of the Christmas specials. I was going to just buy a single SKS and crate. But the crate pricing isn't valid when not buying a christmas deal SKS.

Im curious, id like to pick up a 3 pack of SKS's and one or two cases of ammo... if I buy the 3 pack of SKS's can I get TWO cases of ammo for $199 each and do I still get the $50 shipping credit per case?
