I'm pretty interested in trying this light, even though I have never tried one before. Anyone have one? I believe they are around $75 US, any Canadian sources and prices?

I have the TLR1s on my Glock. It works fine and has been through about 1000 rounds and is always carried in a holster. No issues so far.
TLR1s throws about 165 lumen and runs about $115. There could be a newer generation by now has I've had mine a while and led tech changes quickly.

I got one on my Glock22 but I haven't taken it to the range. Most times I'm at the range, it's bright daylight, don't need the dead weight BUT that being said, I should find out how the weight of that light impacts my POI and can the light survive the recoil. Might have to take it out next time.

I have a TLR4 on my gen 3 Glock 17, works great, no issues at all. I know the guys at General Gun & Supply have some in stock. Great little light, I would recommend it to anyone.

I have 6 tlr-1's that run fine and I dont baby them. If the tlr3 is similar it should be gtg.

The TLR-1 may be the better choice for me. Being aluminum and waterproof seem to be big positives. The TLR-3 is smaller and lighter - but is plastic, throws less light and I've been reading about the plastic rails breaking... Lots of TLR models for everyone.

I have an older TLR-1 but is rated for around 120 lumens and to me, it looks dimmer than that.

TBS it is a good solid little light and indoors I prefer less light than more.

The TRL-1 I see for sale is rated at 300 lumens (C4 LED) while the TRL-3 is 110. I think there were several earlier versions with the same TRL-1 designation.

I just picked up a TLR-1 HL (High Lumens), it puts out 630 lumens. Under $200.

I pointed it into space and I think I might have blinded one of the astronauts on the space station (true story).
