Tokarev Issue

Do you someone have encounter same issue with is tokarev .

I buy a Polish Tokarev tt33 , and same to have problem with magazine or with slide stopper .

When i load a Full loaded magazine sometime the bullet touche the slide stopper and the slide close .
Is very bad , other time i load loaded magazine and after shoot all round the magazine don't eject of the Pistol , the Slide Stopper are Under the ramp of the magazine , i have to push off the frame the slide stopper too remove the magazine .

I don't know what to do with that . a gunsmith tell me to just buy another tokarev .

My Polish 33 does this too (every time). I thought it was a feature, not a problem. It doesn't have the other problem you mention though.

Same way my 33 works.

Could be maybe the mag doesn't quite fit the gun. Might be a mismatch or something.

maybe you can return it if it is new. otherwise, buy another, cheaper than gunsmith and you will have a parts gun for when the new one fails.

I had similar problems with my Polish TT33, with 2 different magazines. On my gun, an empty magazine would frequently get stuck (as you describe). Also, with the magazine out and the slide locked back, the slightest touch would cause the slide to slam shut. I noticed that the pin on the slide stop was a very loose fit relative to the hole in the frame. This allowed the slide stop to move slightly away from the frame whenever it was under pressure from the slide. I bent my slide stop very slightly (towards the frame) and this solved my problems. The slide stopper are little too short for my second magazine , and when i load this magazine in and push down my slide stopper that jam the entire gun , i have to dissasembler him each time , but with the one come with my polish is ok , only the spare they give to me . with a full loaded magazine bullet don't touch the slide stopper , but with the other each time the slide get engage .
I will try new magazine .
