Shooting the 460V

Love the 460 in 5"
I'd love to have one, with moon clips and a fiber optic front sight.
IPSC revolver would never be the same, lol...
As for a cannalure tool I like my CH4D tool, #12000; h ttp://ch4d.com

Your crazy! The redhawk was nicer then a SA. However, as long as your happy thats all that matters.
Beauty is all in the Eyes of the Beholder my friend....
I figured the 460v would handle my double action needs and the RSBHB would take care of SA. Works for me:)

wish S&W made the 460 in a 6.5", no under lug version like they do with the 500. the reliability issues currently overshadow my interest in the gun though

No issues here. I've shot several hundred rounds of factory ammo in all three calibers (the vast majority being .460) with no issues. It puts the biggest sh*t eating grin on my face each time I pull the trigger. The revolver shoots consistently well in all calibers. The biggest surprise was how tame the .454 Casul feels (I had not shot that caliber prior to this) as a result of the .460's frame being so substantial. I like it and would have no issue recommending it to anyone looking for an awesome wheelgun to enjoy.

I plan on reloading for it now as I have all my components for it though my only suitable powder right now is H110... not that it's a bad powder but as mentioned it is so fine it really makes a mess on a progressive machine. I plan on running my .460 in one of our action courses this summer just for sh*ts & giggles. I have a few buddies that are willing to run their .500's at the same time as well. Good times and concussions all around :p
