I don't know where the laminate trees grow, all I know is that you can buy genuine laminate wood at the same stores that sell tartan paint. Laminate wood is twice the price of regular wood and plywood., that proves that it's better.unless you can show where on earth Laminate trees grow![]()
Laminate is wood that has been layered and glued together with wood grain pointing in a different direction as the other layer. Laminate usually uses the same type of wood layered together. Plywood usually uses a cheaper kind of wood layered together the same way as laminate and then a thin strip of the desired more expensive wood is glued on the outside. You wouldn't want to make a laminate stock out of plywood from the hardware store but they're eccentrically the same thing.
