Anyone have any first-hand knowledge on Gorosabels' ?

I have an excellent condition 20ga in hand, but google-fu turns up alot of dead links & info that over-whelms me. As I'm not a shot techie, i'm hoping someone maybe able to help.

Info & markings as follows;

Gorosabel - Made in Spain (on top of right bbl)
"Bell" Special Steel (on top left bbl)
20-3" underneath bbl (there's a host of other proof marks I'm un-familiar with)
0-1 (right & left respectively) underneath bbl & on receiver
Double Trigger

It is a slide lock variation, with the lock pin exiting the left side of the receiver when opened. Extractor/s work fine as it ejects Snap Caps with authority. It's definitely not an entry grade, as the scroll work is a little more than those I did see pics of on line. Certainly not a "Premium" or "Ultra" grade as the receiver is blued with a hint of natural heat marks on it. Possibly a Mid-Grade ? (If there is/was such a thing).

It's almost an exact duplicate to the model pictured below & in the same condition (borrowed full-time from the interwebz ;) )

Your gun can't be an exact duplicate to the one shown. You said yours is a sidelock. The one shown is a boxlock. Also you said it has extractors but then you said it ejects shells with authority. That would indicate ejectors, not extractors. We need to see pics of your actual gun and proof marks on the underside of the barrels. If it is a sidelock and has ejectors, value could be quite different from the gun shown.
 
Gorosable was commonly known to make low to mid quality shotguns and was one of the participants in the failed "DAIRM"(spelling?) experiment where the Spanish government convinced most Gunmakers of the time to join a co-operative in the manufacture and marketing of their wares. one company might make all the action/receivers for all the participants another would make barrels etc... Any maker of the day would have identical guns but with different names (example look at Trade Ex Spanish guns). The quality was all over the place from good to bad and these guns need to be evaluated on a one to one basis for quality. From the description, what you have is a case colored boxlock with ejectors and a Kirsten/Greener type cross bolt and although it is difficult to tell from the pictures, it seems to have side clips (bonus in a Spanish box lock). A note, any Gorosable I have come across had quality timing problems with their cross bolts.
 
Like I said, I'm not fluent in shot-tech speak. I'll try & get some photos up tomorrow. The picture is a good rendition of what I have in terms of the style of stock and grade of scroll work.

I owned a Gorosabel 12 gauge boxlock maufactured in the early 60's by the proof marks. It was a Greener type crossbolt action and I would say good quality though I have seen a couple others of the same make that were not as good so Grouser has a point about examining each gun on an individual basis. Spanish guns run the gamut from absolute junk to those rivalling English "Best" guns.
 
You have a boxlock ejector gun with the Greener style crossbolt. Because it looks to be in nice condition and is a 20 gauge, I would put the value around $500.00.
If you take the barrels off and take a pic of the proof marks on the bottom side of the barrels (barrel flats), we can tell you when it was made.
