Cz 858 worth the buy with all the rumours?

Like the title says. Is it worth the buy while all the rumours of reclass going on? Not trying to stir trouble but want another ( sold mine and miss it dearly)

strength in numbers.... thousands own CZ858s so it would be a greater PITA for the RCMP and CPC then you. I just pre-ordered a VZ2008 and have no fear they will take it away any time soon.

Haha no I loved it. I just wanted to try something different. Or so I thought. Turns out the 858 is where it's at for me. I want to buy another one but now with all the rumours of reclass I'm worried about having a big paperweight.

Cz-858: The very best there is. When you absolutely, positively got to kill every motherf****r in the room, accept no substitutes. Unless you can get an AK47, in which case, use that.

Im a purist couldnt stand the non chrome lined barrel and the length of it. Te t97 suits me better other than the sights are crude

Keep both. I have three vz-58's/cz-858's and a type 91nsr. I plan on getting more of both, wife permitting. (she's awesome, I kid.)

Reviews are good in the USA and the receiver and Barrel are built in the USA. Their also chrome linned which makes them less prone to hard extraction from surp ammo.

I sold cz858 to get a tavor and I regret it everyday. I want to get another one but they sell quickly on the EE.

Buy one, or two as the price is bound to go up over time just like it has in the last couple of years. They are still the best gun in their price range in Canada thst is non restricted.

Sigh. I am so sorry for you guys who sold it (858) and want/need it back. I kick myself for not buying a second one right after I bought the first one!
It is so much fun and it is always the first rifle that I let people try out at the range. I do need more ammo tho.
