Nice and practical looking that's for sure and a whole lot handier than original. Curious as to what that little nub left of the cleaning rod is all about??

Corps the upper hand guard is painted so doesn't look like he'll be putting it back to original config.Might not be a bad idea to sell the wood stocks to fund more projects EL34/6L6.

Well there ya go. Guess I could have looked a tad closer and would have noticed that bolt was for the mounting of the brake. How do you like the brake?

I wanted a black SKS that didn't look like the usual Strifkeforce or Intrafuse offerings out there, I wanted to make it a bit more of a customized look. Some small add ons made all the difference.

So my 1950 Tula is now wearing:

- ATI Monte Carlo stock
- Magpul lower rail.
- Tapco foregrip.
- Choate muzzle brake.
- Tapco 2/20 mag.
- Painted (repaint needed) handgaurd.

Makes for a nice pair of fun shooters when I take a friend or the wife to the range. They can pick the rifle they like and I'll take the other, cause I'm happy with either one. Throw in a case is surplus x39 and away we go!

Looks like good plastic.
