Its a Benelli and stamped CAL 12 MAG CH 70 MM 3" MADE IN ITALY
Can anyone tell me something about this shotgun?
I got it from my father but it's not very good for hunting birds.
Does anyone know what its worth and if anyone is interested I would trade it for a duck hunting shotgun of the same quality and value.

Whoa look at that carry handle? Looks like an m16/shotgun hybrid.

Ive been searching all over the internet since you posted and I cant find any thing
Its cool as hell though where did you get it?

Elevated sights were used on a straight stock design right?
Slanted stocks allow for a small sight over bore.

This one is using both.... imagine it would be very hard to get a weld on the stock to shoot it. Just because of that I would guess it is a custom thing? Iunno, anyone else think that too?

I'm a retired Police officer and also a tactical shotgun instructor. I received this shotgun from my dad, I don't know where he got it.
I contacted Benelli and also Fabarm. One member PM stating he thinks it's a FABARM Ellegi Police.

Id hold off till you know what you have
I have a nice winchester id throw up for trade thats my bird gun but just becouse im curious about this thing
But if I were you id hold off om trade offers or cash offers till you know I just saw a little old lady screwed her late husbands garands becouse of lack of knowledge.

What did you search to find that? I couldn't turn up anything with my searches.
I think I image searched carry handle shotgun sights

"The Tactical shotgun differs by mounting a carry handle in place of the dovetail mount, this being offset to the left of the the reciever and high enough not to interfered with the reciever top loading port. The handle is grooved containing a sliding-type tangent-leaf rear sighting unit and the front sight is a high mounted hooded post. "

No more mystery it's been solved thanks Cory.
My mystery shotgun is a VIKING 12 bore (3 inch) Model SOS semi automatic shotgun.
I'm 100% that's what it is, I spoke to my day and he told me it had a pistol grip and he didn't like it. Being a farmer he just wanted it for shooting raccoons. I'm going to look and see if I can get a replacement butt and put it back to it's original state. Since it says it is rare, when I read the write up on the shotgun.

Very strange but very cool looking gun. Apparently it is a Fabarm rshotgun, but was built (or modified) by a British firm for Police and Military use. Very unique little treasure you have there.

That SA-80 in .22 would be so badass. Is the SA prohibited by name?

Forgot to say it was made by Viking Arms Ltd.
