Who has a 2012/2013 CSA VZ 58 and has or has not had bolt problems?

following. I don't know the year offhand as it is at the gunsmith for something unrelated.
Bought in March 2013, 7.62, NR, less than 500 rounds through it. No issues.
 
So does anyone know why csa would see an issue with its parts and yet still build a thousand dollar rifle knowing there will be issues? Would it not be cheaper to toss the whole lot of bolts and start over rather than risking a lot of unhappy customers? Afterlife they have had to provide new bolts to those whose broke.
 
I broke my firing pin after 1000 round and waited six months to get it fixed and I put another 700 threw her the other day and the bolt now has a small chip in it. The first trip out with rifle I ended up cracking the m4 buffer tube. Needless to say I'm not to impressed with the quality control. I'm just hoping it does not take another 6 months to get it back

Who the heck did you send it to that took 6 months to fix the rifle?
 
they are not the type of gun you want to fire a lot of rounds in it,they like to sit in a safe or on a shelf somewhere,if you want a real non restricted shooter, get a norinco t 97,,
 
Bolt problems.
Year of manufacturing 2013

First time
fired exactly 71 rounds
Result catastrophic bolt failure

Second time
Fired approximately 600 rounds
Result broken firing pin

Side note after the first repair the rifle stove piped 1/15 rounds with Czech surplus. Early on a stove pipe was so bad that it wedged into the rear sight and cracked it. Finally the firing pin broke in half using LCW noncorrosive.

End result, shipped my rifle off beginning of August still waiting because movie arms is busy filming power rangers.

Pretty irritated thus far with my replacement. I will post back after getting a few rounds through it.

I thought I had it bad. Not even firing shots and they break... What did they make the firing pins out of hardened cheese?
 
Does anyone have a picture of the bolt carrier that has peening, and was replaced. Mine has started to peen, has a very small dimple. I am having issues with my photobucket, so cannot upload my pic right now. Would love to see pictures from someone else who has had this issue.
 
Mine is late 2013 (bought it new this spring). ~2k rounds. Not even one misfeed, misfire, not to mention broken parts - mostly surplus ammo from different countries.

Being aware of that bad possibility, just in case I have a spare bolt assembly with few firing pins. So can quickly fix it on the field in case something broken (otherwise one hour and a half driving to crown land could be wasted I case of failure along with whole day). I can always send a broken part to Movie for replacement - sending whole rifle is not necessary if you manage to take out a troubled part. I know that.

Btw, I can barely see anyone has sent more than 1k rounds through this rifle. What's the problem? Are you not enjoying it? Safe queen?

Actually having about 600 rounds average as per responses is not a good statistics for the reliability. I bet closer to 5k rounds would be more entertaining to hear bad experiences and watching pics of broken parts. Lets see. With such shooting activities (~500 per year as reported here) will talk to you in 10 years. Movie Arms with their 5 year warranty can sit back and relax. Oddly enough, mine will likely brake sooner. I shoot a lot.
