Does anyone know if anyone offers .303 British in bulk/surplus or at least for less than your standard 20rnd boxes. Getting lazy and shooting them faster than I can reload them, plus I could use some new brass anyways. Thanks Again Fellas!

I havn't seen any in quite a while, I buy the S&B for $20.00 a box nowadays, but perhaps someone has some tucked away.

Surplus is pretty well non-existent and I haven't seen anyone selling bulk. We're stuck with 20 round boxes and time spent re-loading what brass we have..Unless anyone else knows better.?

OP, have you considered looking at a couple of the banner advertisers at the top of the page???

A few of them would be open to large orders. Say you get a few people together and purchase anywhere from 1000 to 10,000+ rounds from them in one batch.

I don't know what your financial position is and don't particularly care. One thing to remember when purchasing ammo, the more you buy at one time, the cheaper it gets.

Most dealers worth their salt will discount large bulk orders because it cuts down on paperwork and handling time as well as making a big dent in their bottom lines. If you can rotate your stock very quickly, that means you can buy more at lower prices and increase profits.

One thing, if you do decide to get a group buy together and can't afford to take a loss or are really irritated by it, get the money from the members of your group up front. I have never had a problem with any group buys I've put together but then again, I am very careful to only offer such buys to friends I know have integrity as well as money.

Closest I've come to surplus is 100 IVI cases at a gun show that where unprimed and unfired. Only reason I didn't snag them is they had a $120 sticker on them. I guess the guy thought they where collectible.

The Canadian Forces still holds stocks of .303 for the Rangers' Lee-Enfields.

If - if - they ever go ahead with the rifle replacement project (last time I heard mired in bureaucratic inanity), then that ammo will be surplus.

The govt may then decide to: a) destroy it, b) give/sell it to a friendly govt still using L-Es (eg India) or c) release it for sale.

Destroying it would make the anti-gun factions happy, but would cost money. Giving it away is revenue-neutral and would bring little political fire. Selling it might be seen as a violation of the govt's policy not to sell on the commercial market surplus weapons (and by extension, ammo). It would on the other hand bring in some badly-needed cash.
