Just curious if the Sage Ebr M14 stock has a specifically made pistol grip or can it be interchanged with any AR style pistol grip? If so which one works best?

Thanks

Not sure. Why would you change such a great stock component without trying. Anyway, you can buy aftermarket.

They're made only for the Sage chassis by ERGO. Last time I checked they were not on their website but Wolverine was able to find the SKU and order a tan one for me.
The other option is the plastic pistol grip that came with the early chassis but they'll be hard to find because these were never imported by dealers.

I thought it was necessary to change the whole rear block

It is. Thats what makes a Mod 0 a Mod 1. Your Mod 1 will accept AR type pistol grips will it not?

Aw man that's a ###y rifle! Definitely what my dreams are made of!
Which flash suppressor is on that?
Was the front sight on the old one?
What scope mount do you have on there?
And how much are the Ebr stocks now aday?
Sorry for all the questions my friend.

Flash suppressor is a blackrose tactical.
Front sight was on the old birdcage flashider but with the mod 0 you soon realize irons are useless. They sit too low. However I am looking for hooded gas block site.
Scope mount is the larue spr-s quick detach mounted backwards.
Ebr stocks are around 950 dollars.
Don't be sorry, that's what this form is for. A fairly heavy rifle(mine is around 13.5 lbs) but a blast to shoot.

Nice rig!

What optic are you running here?

Thank you.

That is a Vortex HD Razor Gen II.

The 1-6x24 HD Razor is NOT ideally suited to the rifles capabilities, but it is well suited to my shooting needs.

If I where in a position to shoot between 600 to 1000 yards, I would use their new 34mm 4.5-27x56 HD Razor.

Here is a better look at the 1-6x24 HD Razor

EBR grip is great, rubber on it,form fit, not sure why you would want to go to a plastic AR one. Shooting this a blast at the range, tonnes if people stop and ask, "what is it, great rifle etc".

Sorry about the ####ty cellphone pics, I just got this piece back from the US via the importer after an enormous amount of work was done on it. Pretty excited to see how it shoots. Edit: meant to say I see no reason to change the grip. It's very comfy.

Very nice!

It needs an EBR trigger shoe though.

Only because the earlier Sage MOD 0 chasis model that I have actually comes with a plastic AR style grip that isn't that good in my opinion. The later models like you have in the picture come with a nice ergo style grip that I wish I had. Im gonna try put on a Mod 0 BCM Gunfighter grip that hopefully should work.
