Looks like the spark II is coming with flip up caps instead of a bikini.

My Bikini snapped, I was going to send Vortex an email and get another one in the mail but the flip ups would be better for sure.
The power button improvement is great.... they aren't really playing it up that much but the old one was way to easy to bump on.
 
Looks as though they fixed the on/off on the Strikefire as well, just wish it was a 2 MOA dot instead of 4. Did you guys see the Spitfire 3x illuminated? Looks like a good Burris Ar332 alternative, I'm interested for sure. Just need some reviews out there.

Looks like you can ditch the goofy Pic rails on it too..
 
I don't know why they make so many tubes with picatinny rails on them. To me it just looks stupid unless you have a real service use for it.
 
Lights/Lasers and other tacticool weight-adding BS. The guys that tilt their rifle to the side every 3 shots and look left and right in a sweeping motion will like those rails.
It states in the brochure that they are removable :)

Maybe you could ask them why they think they can charge $170 more for Canada. So tired of this crap. I know the dollar is not on par, but that's a premium.

I bought my Strikefire for $160. So the MSRP is $100 over that for the new version. FAIL.
 
Anyone play with the new DB HD 4-16 yet?

I read that the glass is suppose to be on par with the ole viper line. This true?
