if you're asking about Aero Precision, they're good to go.

The Rainier Arms upper/lower combo at One Shot it a pretty damn good deal if you ask me, Rainier is top of the line stuff.

They are both forged upper/lowers so the only real world difference is the STI doesn't have M4 extended feedramps cut in the upper to accomodate M4 feedramps of a barrel extension, you can put an M4 barrel in a rifle upper but you can't put a rifle barrel in an M4 upper as it is asking for problems. I don't know the quality standard to which STI holds their AR stuff or what kind of flared magwell they use but I know Rainier is top notch.

I don't think you can go wrong either way.
