Hello,

For some reason i seem to be having trouble sourcing a reputable low profile gas block. I've been mulling over a build for a few months and had no trouble finding parts. Now that I've decided to start ordering parts, suddenly everything is out of stock at all the vendors i usually buy from. The only stuff i can find in stock is brands I've never heard of and know nothing about.

Can anyone recommend a quality/reputable low profile (0.750) gas block that a dealer actually has in stock?

Thanks,

I thought I was the only one who found finding a low profie gas block was pretty tough. S&J has a sale on their shop made block for $45. I believe SFRC has NEA ones. Someone had a new Vltor one for $80. (or was that $90?) on EE. ArmsEast has Geissele SPG block for $68. Wolverine has Midwest Industries for $55. and a DD MK12 block for $81.

Brownells is the answer. Try sandj ctcs one shot wolverine arms east calgary shooting centre or atrs.

I usually don't like ordering from the US. It's just the duties that piss me off. How do you usually have brownells ship when you order from them?
I refuse to let UPS bring anything across the border for me.

Ups sucks all around. In the comments I request usps flat rate shipping. Its less than $10 most times.

Yup. If you order a lot of stuff that won't fit in the $11. shipping box, shipping price jumps up a bit unfortunately. If your invoice is around $100. chances are you won't pay taxes. I have a $240. box coming in from Brownells this week, I'll see I get dinged for taxes. Last few times I've been lucky.

I order most of my stuff from Brownells as well. Been using Yankee Hill as I like the way they clamp on better then set screws or the side clamping method. They stay tight...
