hey I was offered a python shiney stainless what kind of money do they go for? there was a blues one as well, maybe that's more in my price range????

Depends on condition, if NIB with all paperwork, 4, 6, 8''.....are you sure it was not Nickel??? Same goes for Royal blue.

seen 2 shiney ones I thought stainless but could be nickel, will ask tomorrow. blue was blue not royal if it was that would be the one I would want. side note diamond backs??? have not seen these yet supposed to be .22 and .357 is this possible? all where 6". will check #s on that list

The prices on all Pythons has gone crazy lately.The polished stainless Pythons(ultimate stainless Python)are going in the region of $3-4K in the US,prices really seem to have climbed lately.Im not sure how it translates to Canada but judging by prices of Pythons on the EE lately(blue ones are going $2K+),polished stainless versions wont be far behind.

It pays to read up about these guns before putting down money like that to be sure you know what youre buying and the high prices have started a small industry of counterfeit boxes,"polished" pythons refinished guns sold as mint etc

so friends being friends....went to the store and picked up some guns. 2 pythons (among others)....had to sell 1 to a friend to keep the friend, much better than keeping a gun. turns out 1 is shiney the other has yellow/golden tint. any thoughts?

The shiny could be bright stainless but the yellow is definitely nickel....If you post pictures we will tell you for sure.
