I found a Remington 700 Sendaro in 300 win mag for sale from a guy in a neighbouring town. Gun is 4 years old, 150-175 rounds down the tube. Its a 26in stainless fluted barrel, B&C stock etc.
No scope, just bases and rings he wants $1000
Bottom dollar is $900
Deal or no deal? I think its a little much personally but it is a nice gun so its tempting. I was lookin at one at Cabelas and they want $1239 new

I would post pics however I dont have sellers permission to do so. Gun is what I would call average shape.

"average shape" scares me........especially at that price.
with a little shopping around, you could probably get one for 1100 all-in NEW

That's what I think too. Like the gun has been hunted with, I wouldn't call it mint but it's above "good" it has your average marks that you get when hunting.

I don't know anything about the gun, but how soon do you want one? It's in a town near you, and no shipping charges either. Just 2 points to consider. Take cash, throw 8 on the table, never know, money talks! Good luck.

I like this plan, except I'd probably go $750. For anything other than like-new condition, $900 sounds out of whack, and even $800 isn't what I would consider a "deal". He's trying to sell it at the worst time of the year, and a fistful of cash might be very tempting to him. It'll depend largely on how long he's been flogging it (if you can find out) and how "motivated" he is to sell.
