Just curious if there is any value in a factory Savage action? Its a factory Savage 10/110 .300 Win Mag unit complete with bolt and Accutrigger.

Thanks

There's definitely value in that! In fact, they're very sought after (by people like me) because of how easy they are to rebarrel, the amount of aftermarket accessories, the Accu-trigger, and the free-floating bolt head.

They make one of the best actions around for a DIY custom rifle, and with a good barrel, they'll shoot like the dickens...

I just have to many projects on the go right now and have a few completed .300's already. Wondering what one would go for cause I don't want to list it too high if I put it on the EE

likely 400ish plus shipping..........

If your priced to high you will know when your bumping it time and time again.........

I just sold a 10FP .308 complete bbl'd action on the EE overnight. The bore had some pitting. I asked $450 shipped OBO and told 'em to make an offer. I also listed a BNIB EGW 20 moa base for $55 shipped or $50 with the action. Got an offer for $450 shipped with the base and its off to its new owner. .300wm might be a tougher sell than .308 but that doesn't mean there aren't plenty of buyers. I'd say start at $450 and ask for offers. To be honest I had no idea myself what they're worth but CGN'ers were very interested @ that price.

Thanks guys. This is my issue as well. The action has less than a 100 rounds on it but the factory Savage barrel(still installed) has some pitting in the last 1" of the bore, I have tried to clean it out but it is there so I don't want to list it as a complete firearm even with full disclosure of the rusting. Its so minimal I almost feel bad about tearing down a great rifle and piecing it off. I know there is value in the factory HS stock just wasn't sure what a action would go for.
