you know those realtime map INT feeds you see in the TOC? I bring those capabilities to multinationals extracting resourcse in less than friendly host states.

My requirements for chest rig is quite a bit simpler than most. TT MAV with 3 single TT mag shingle. I have two eagle comm pouches on either side. Those are my multi-purpose pouches. Usually they hold tetra radio, FRS/GMRS radio, and duty nokia. the other pouch could carry a pistol if issued (usually a browning or 92fs of some variety - very very rare occasions), or, my personal fav - a Netline mobile IED jammer. the velcro pouch of the TT MAV carries copies of IDENT and other useful social licensing docs and authorizations.

I very rarely put this on, as most everything can just fit in cargo pockets. It does, however, fit over the PlateMinus just fine.

I use another TT Mav for courses. 3 x double shingle on the centre. On my left are 2 x double pistol 5.11 mag pouches. On my right is IFAK.

For a PC I already have a Vel-Tye Hugger and with the detachable LOWVIS molle rig (has shoulder straps and side release buckles for separate usage from the Hugger) it suits all of my current needs, although it could be better designed (now that I've had it and used it for a while).

I have to say that I'm tempted in picking a D3 CR from Haley Strategic. For the price ($199) and the features it offers, it's a pretty nice piece of kit. Who doesn't like more gear anyway right :)

Vel Tye hugger!!! A man that know's real kit. One off custom hand made PC's for Tier 1, I salute you sir. If you don't know the "hugger" you're in the wrong business.

It would rock if CGN dealers could bring in generic size S,M,L PC's from Vel Tye.
 
I play a lot of scenario paintball and my setup is Mag Feed, so I don't carry pods or have the ugly hopper on my Marker. I personally go with the "brick" on my front and find that it doesn't really interfere with laying prone, or humping in the tall grass for that matter. Takes a bit of getting used to but its not too bad. I usually wear 10 mags. Six on the left and 4 on the right, double stacked. And these mags are pretty big, Think 20 rd HK 417 mags and you'll get the idea. Paintballs are .68 for the most part so they're kind of monstrous compared to real firearms. paintballs are a lot lighter than cartridges though so the weight isn't quite the same. With 10 mags I have 200 rounds.

Here's a couple of pictures that show a pretty good shot of them in profile, to give you an idea. All of my soft gear is all paintball products though, so their usefulness with the real stuff would be dubious.

While I like my kit, I can't agree with you on that one!! There are some fantastic PC on the marker that offer a lot of features, of excellent quality at comparable prices - and come in lighter as well, which IMO is very important. The products that Darren carries comes to mind - the BFG LMAC, High Ground Gear PC - are pretty light. I've had the V-T since before these products came out and could be persuade to change over to one of them somewhat easily.

I'll put my V-T on the scale, empty, with the low vis attached to it to show you the weight difference!

I've only heard about the "hugger" a couple times, and I think both were on AirsoftCanada. Never heard it mentioned in other circles.

Now maybe I'm in the wrong business but I've got a pretty good feeling that I'm not.

The advancements in kit over the past 5yrs years has been unreal. High speed 5 yrs ago was the Eagle CIRAS, HSGI Wasatch, Paraclete/MSA, LBT Carriers and similar.

Now we've realized weight is a bigger issue and fewer high speed items are being overbuilt.

FWIW - Vel-Tye is a veteran (USN) owned company which, per my understanding, mostly deal with US Mil and LEO customers, so nothing related to AS. I think it's one of those company that hasn't taken off too a wider market, perhaps for lack of marketing / online presence or else? Quality is top notch so I can't see that being the problem.

100% agree with you on the advancement of kits, hence why I'd pick up a new one.

Large number of those companies in the US and Canada, basically dealing with the local market and not getting nationwide attention.
 
Vel Tye and others who only really cater to pro's as Ben said dont go after the civy market, no need to. The Hugger is a PC and can be updated for rigs like Haley's and others, hence the custom order.

My post was not an attack at all in anyway at you One Shot. Eagle CIRAS, HSGI , Paraclete/MSA, High ground, Mayflower,HS, TAG,TT, BFG,GG, etc... cough Condor cough are used more by AS and preppers than actual shooters. Hell all Kit is used more by AS and preppers than us fine gent's on site's like this.

No one PC or rig is the best, everyone is built diffrent and have seperate needs. I was just showing joy over Ben's Hugger with that nice I hope Velcro front that can accept many rigs from your store. A Hugger is like a custom suit hand made for you. might not be the best setup but it is fit to you and not generic.

And Thats what make dealers like One Shot top notch they will work with the customer to find what will fit them the best. #### 10yrs ago webbing was the cats ass.

Ben, how much with shipping did that beast set you back?

Hey guys, I just got a carrier and am kind of wondering what kind of mag pouches to get. I am going to start doing some CQB and 3 gun in the spring. I am contemplating getting 2 double stack for my AR mags, and probably something similar for pistol mags. Do you think 4 mags is enough or should I get 3 doubles so I have 6? What are you guys running on your side? I am kind of new to this so thanks for any advice

Do you guys like the rifle mag pouches with the pistol ones on the front of them? Or should I get stacked rifles then put the pistol mags beside them?
