My Les Baer Thunder Ranch Special (Yeah, now with actual pics!) & Nill Grips

I have lusted after a LB for a long while now. You got yourself a mighty fine deal there BenL.
I wanted the LB more than the higher dollar options just because I always thought of it more as a shooter than a pretty face.
Looking forward to some more pics and of course range reports. Congrats on a fine firearm.

Since Ben pulled a Caramel on us, I don't feel bad ;) hijacking his thread...which one are you getting Harry, older model, did you order new from Brenda, is it the one that is SPF on the EE right now?:)

I'm still waiting for transfer approval and I'll manage to go to the range and break it in with at least 500 rounds this week. Will post some clean & dirty pics on a new thread ASAP!
 
Hey BenL, it it the one that sold a few weeks ago on the EE. I remember that it was in LNIB condition with 400 rounds fired and the asking price was lowered to $1600 from the initial $1850 a few weeks before? I dont know who got that one, but maybe you gonna end up with it!

That would be the one yes, but the owner pulled his ad down knowing he was crazy to sell it, but two extra boxes through it and then my EE ad came along....and he sold it to me. So it's not a quick resale from a guy who bought it for a 3 weeks and then passed it on to me. I would have been a bit worried about it (I think it's the 1st thing I asked him when we exchanged PMs!)

I kicked myself in the arse last month when he pulled his ad because I had missed it by mere hours. All is well that ends well :)

BenL's like new TRS @ $1650 is a pretty fair price. It didn't sell at the initial asking price of $1850 but after a few weeks it was lowered to $1600 + shipping. The thread was removed a few days later if I remember correctly. Looks like BenL did finally get it!
