DBoys Dragon Scale ..... (I know, it's for air soft hehehehehe) have them lying around for the last year or so. I just thought I'll put it on the Ruger. I think it cleaned up the rails really well.

New stock for my old 10/22...

Just put one of my late 1980's vintage Ruger 10/22's into a factory laminate stock I got off the EE.

Arrived in the mail today. Dropped right in with no fuss. Really like the look over the plain factory stock with forward barrel band:

Other. I forget what it was but I think he said we cant get it anymore up here. Post 494 has a hogue on it.

Swapped some bit around and repainted the Archangel stock an olive green..actual colour is somewhere between the two greens in the photo..was having white balance issues.

Moved a TRS 32 on to the SR-22, as well as some OD hogue grips.

I found the old Boyds Evo stock got too slick when there was even a bit of condensation so I just picked up the Hogue stock. Here is the current configuration:

Here's a WIP photo of my Nomad. Just painted it yesterday with Krylon Flat Tan. The paint is pretty forgiving - I thought for sure I was going to have drips, but it leveled off and dried with a nice even matte sheen. Not sure how well it will adhere to the plastic stock, time will tell.

I didn't fully reassemble as I have a shorter barrel on the way (going to have to pin the IDZ stock). Looking at some shorter fore grips too, some kind of red-dot sight, a few other bits.

Lots of inspiring G36C threads on here, so thanks to those guys for getting me interested in this project. I'll post pics when its all back together.

I would really like to know what adjustable stock that is and how you fit it? I have been searching and I can't find anything about it.
