Info on Kel-Tec SU-16fx

Man shame on you people buying this. Its overpriced. Its not about the fact that you can afford to pay an extra 300 more then its worth (ATLEAST 300).

STOP BUYING OVERPRICED STUFF. If we all stuck together and didn't buy overpriced ILLEGAL MONOPOLY items then they would be forced to lower the prices.

But since due to our laws they have a monopoly on this item and they know people are going to want it due to the over regulation from our government, which also is against healthy competiton they will charge whatever they want.

Now what should happend is people realize that they have a monoply so their is no fair competition so we have to speak with our wallets, i didn't buy this because i know for a fact that these cost no more then 200 dollars to create and JUST LOOK IN THE U.S were rifle prices are high for them at the moment and its still LESS THEN HALF THE PRICE,

Not to mention it comes with a usless optic just to give them a reason to charge more.

this is a 1300 dollar su16 BWAHAHAHA.

I cant find the MSRP for SU 16fx in America anywhere. Where did you get this number of at least $300 dollar?

The FX is only available in Canada. The MSRP is $1250.
Blissified is getting the number by adding the cost of the stock su16 and adding the parts to make it an FX. Whether or not you agree with his math skills is in question.

every nr black rifle is way over priced. Get used to it!

Lol, you guys spend $1250 plus tax and what will be the first thing you do? Take off the horrible airsoft sight! Wow that gun is worth $1300 to you?
Don't get me wrong I love the su16! I had one with the pistol grip, threaded barrel and quad rail. Sold it for $800! Guess it was worth $1300 new!
I wish there was a gun loving lawyer that could tell me why some monopolies are legal in Canada and some aren't?
There must be a way to fight Vaults monopoly!
My understanding is Keltec won't ship to use anymore because Vault wants there cut. I'm guessing Vault pays to the inspection to make the firearms Canadian legal. However just how much margin do they need to cover this cost and run their business? Who is paying for the inspection of other firearms? Cause it seems other brands are simularly priced to the US market. It's Keltec guns that are $300-$500 in the US and $500-$800 here.
That's why one poster said $300+ Just do the math.
Guess some Canadians either can't or don't care that they are being gouged.
Done with my rant.

This topic has been brought up on this forum so many times.
There are many reasons why the same gun is more expensive in Canada.

Sorry man, but evil monopolies are a part of free market capitalism.
Bingo!

For the price, what you get is a platform that usually ends up restricted, it shoots cheap ammo, and you can use a 10 round mags.
I feel like price is reasonable. Buy a standard su-16. Convert to the ar style, and your 1000$ deep.

Now the extra 250 can be rationalized for the color and the optic (which is terrible)

So for guys who want the price to drop by everyone holding out and not buying the product. They tried that with the whole 'don't buy gas for a day'

It's the free market, if I could make them for $400 knowing people will still buy them for 1300. I would start manufacturing tomorrow

Evil monopolies are a part of quasi-free market that has been over regulated by the government to create conditions where monopolies can occur and thrive.
Don't blame capitalism when it's the government that is the problem.

Monopolies can occur due to over-regulation or under-regulation.

That being said, people are willing to pay more than the open-market price here because there are heavy restrictions in place and very few alternatives.
