My first coyote over the call!

Shot lots pushing and posting over the years, started calling last year with a buddy that has lots of experience. A couple misses and close calls and no luck til this morning. I didn't get much for pics, but it's a small female. 240 yards for the shot, she came out behind us (always pop out where you don't expect), and knew something was up, tried to get far enough down wind to catch our sent. About 20 minutes into the stand, taken with 223. Finally felt good to connect!

Now out for an evening try!

I'm going to have it tanned along with some others I have. The plan for the first one called in was head mount with a rabbit or wood duck in the mouth, but I think it's this years pup, maybe 30lbs. Maybe the next one, or the next one.....

Ps I did not shoot the dark one, or it would be a mount!
