What do you all use for your AR mags? I have a 4-round shotgun caddy that holds them, wondering if that's the best way. Off the belt, or chest rigs? Will be used for IPSC and other multigun games.

Thanks!

Blade-Tech AR mag holders with Tek-lok on my belt.

I only shoot the occasional service rifle/cqb match, but I really like the Esstac pouches with the KYWI insert. It's an open top, kydex insert retention design, that gives you a ton of gripping surface on the mag to grab for your reload.

Because of it's low cut design, it also works great with LAR mags. To top it off, they are very reasonably priced, site sponsor DS tactical sells them.

Do they attach to a standard IPSC-style belt?

They're molle, however by skipping the middle row of molle on the pouch with the malice clips I can simply slide it onto my CR Speed outer belt. Hopefully what I explained is clear, but if needed I could take a photo.

As long as it's doable, I'm tempted to get a few both for 3gun and for IPSC rifle use ;)

if your a multi class shooter(run 308/223) the HSGI Tacos work well I run the rifle/pistol Taco

I have some of the bladetech holders and fastmags (223 and 308) - I personally prefer the fastmags, and have my pistol mags attached to them. I have also run a Blue Force Gear chest rig for my swiss arms mags as I find they work really well for the mags with built in couplers.
