I've had the old RRA LAR mags from Questar, and they tend to fall apart at the spot welds.

Looking for some more and see that Q still sells the 10 pack for 199 equivalent to 20 a piece, while SFRC sells the C-product at 24.95 a piece.
Has the product improved much from Questar that it's still worth the 20 a piece? or is the SFRC product far more superior at an extra $5 a piece. I'm looking to pick up ten or so - is the extra $50 worth it?

Personally I am waiting for the LAR mags from ATRS to be replenished since they are chaped like 20 round mags.

They are polymer, good construction, and so far have great reviews.

They are made in a way that the full 10 rounds fit and function properly, not 9 rounds cuz 10 is too tight.

I think these will be a "Game Changa" once they are available in the large amounts ATRS is quoting.

Price point too is good.

I bought a few of the Questar ones and had to file down the front lip so the ammo don't get caught up there. A couple of them were a bit wide and would not drop free but a light rubber mallet on a flat surface fixed that. They work perfectly now. If I had to do it over again, I would get the XCR Pistol mags from Wolverine instead. I'm waiting for the polymer ATRS ones as well. :)

C-Product and ASC have worked flawlessly for me in my S&W M&P AR15. I've heard that certain guns have had a problem with the pistol mags.

I know it's silly, but isn't that modifying a pistol mag to blah, blah, blah, bad news bears?
