Im kinda thinkin this is prohib ammo but can we get this here in canuckistan?

Is there a particular reason dragon's breath ammo is prohib? It's not armour-piercing, and I cannot think of what other aspect would make it prohib (other than just being fun).

2. Any projectile that is designed, manufactured or altered to ignite on impact, where the projectile is designed for use in or in conjunction with a cartridge and does not exceed 15 mm in diameter.
3. Any projectile that is designed, manufactured or altered so as to explode on impact, where the projectile is designed for use in or in conjunction with a cartridge and does not exceed 15 mm in diameter.

It seems all the fun 12 gauge rounds are illegal..........Google exotic 12 ga ammo and you will find most everything unique and fun but way to cool for Canada :(

Dragons Breath *Illegal* :(

Actually, I'm not sure that Dragon's Breath meets the definition of incendiary - largely because there is no projectile in a DB round. The design essentially shoots fine powder, not a projectile.

By definition DB does not qualify here. It has been a long time so I can't remember if it was specifically named or not. What might be keeping it out of Canacistan is it's not having been submitted and approved yet like most ammo has to be.

It does not fit the NRC definition of safety cartridge, just like tracer. It is not incendiary as it is not a projectile and is not designed to ignite or explode on impact, which is clear from the language regarding prohib ammo. It is not illegal to own or shoot, but it is not approved for commercial import by NRCan.

DB is pretty kool, hopefully it will/is legal ..I seen a video on youtube, dudes putting flints in .22 hollow points, shooting at steel. Is this also illegal to do here? (is this incendiary?)

Actually I believe that it's main ingredient is powdered zirconium.... Really expensive. The effects guys here pay about $600/ounce.

As I have heard the main ingredient is lycopodium powder. Although that reference has been removed from Wikipedia. and some additional magnesium powder.
Lycopodium is available on ebay
