If a factory-produced shotgun has a barrel less than 18 inches, it’s legal so long as its overall length is greater than 660mm, or 30 inches, and the action is hand-operated, like a pump-action.

The 660mm part is right but 660/25.4( theres 25.4 mm in an inch)=25.984" so that just goes to show how knowledgeable the writer of that article is.

Yup. 660mm is 25.9843 inches. Not 30 inches like the author says.

This seems to be a systemic negative attitude towards firearms in general with short barreled shotguns at the front. This liberal socialist attitude that if you purchase a firearm to defend yourself makes you a criminal, needs to be changed. Personal liberty and freedom and the ability to protect oneself from harm should be the attitude of a polite society, which is an armed society

Why is this process so hard? The liberal attitude that if you want to carry a gun from to protect yourself makes you a criminal as seen above. These numbers are way too low, it should be more like 1 million or so.........everyone should own a short barreled shotgun, just because we can!

Correct me if I'm wrong guys, But i believe you can you can if you buy off the shelf parts. ie short barrels, ect
