2014 Las Vegas Antique Arms show purchases

...it would be easier to put them in your pocket, but airport security frown on this sort of thing these days.:p

Antiques have no registry requirement, therefore same classifications as a coffee grinder. Q: if you buy a coffee grinder in the states can you mail it to your home address if you don't want to explain to airport security why there's a coffee grinder on your lap? :)

Its really just that easy???

Caveat - know what you're doing. US federal and state laws are a lot more complex than ours because of the dual levels of laws and the fact that each state has different laws. Also you'll have to know your guns and their facts very well or you could end up barred from entering the states, or with a several thousand dollar gun seized by customs.

This is true, some states dont distinguish the differnce between modern handguns and antique, New Hampshire for example, A handgun is a handgun. I do like this state, Thier motto on thier vehical plates is Live free or die, Gotta like that, seat belt laws are those under 12

I dont know for fact but i would think if you got caught with a antique handgun in this state for example, you might as well be carrying any handgun, then again, Wouldnt the federal law not override in such a scenario.

We're not talking about Nevada anymore!? @cornbinder: Nevada (Vegas) has the same or similar conditions on antique hand guns as we do in Canada, that's how the OP went with nothing more than money and was able to walk with so many antiques (good on you BTW OP). What other states do I have no idea, but in the restrictive states I doubt very much that the vendor would sell a restricted firearm to somebody from a foreign country who has no other credentials than cash...sounds like big sh1t, big fan scenario for the vendor and buyer.
