Beretta 92 Question

I like the Beretta 92 but find the grip too big to hold properly.
I have small hands, I can handle the 1911 and the Polish Radom because they are narrow grip guns.
Did Beretta manufacture a single stack type 92 pistol with narrow grip?

Not really. However there are a million different after market grips you can buy. There might be some type of slim grips you can pick up I imagine. I dont know if they will be much of a reduction in thickness though.

I was worried about grip size as well. That is why I bought a Beretta 90-two instead of a Beretta 92. With the 90-two Beretta makes factory slim grips that fit my hand perfect.

yes; a 92 Compact cant remember if it was type M or L. One of them is single stack. They're not common now and will cost at least a grand used.

There are also 92 Vertec, 92 Elite 1 they both have a smaller grip (not really any narrower but smaller non the less). Also 90two has an option of getting a smaller grip for it as mentioned above. I had one but still prefer the full size grip.

I'm guessing you don't have a 92 yet but either shot or handled one, what grips did it have? that can make a huge difference.

I have owned the 92s with stock grips and didn't like them. I guess I will have to stick to the 1911 style of gun.
I have owned lots of guns over the years and single stacks are the only guns I can comfortably handle.
I liked the Polish Radom but its an older gun getting more expensive, a nice one is a collectors piece.
That's why I want a single stacked gun.
I recently traded for an Inglis High Power but I probably won't shoot it much as its a piece for my WWII collection.

Try the vertec. Almost the 1911 grip on the 92 frame

There is in fact an old classic that Beretta made. The 1951 or Brigadier. Single action though. Slim all steel 8 round mag.
A heavy all steel gun that handles well. This was the precursor to the 92. Same open slide design although the safety and mag release
need some getting used to. Don't buy the licensed non Beretta versions such as the Egyptian "Helwan" or Iraqi "Tariq" as they may not be
as robust as the Beretta. Saw a couple on Epps site. Hope this helps.
