Summer Slam VIII Registration is now open!

Just a not my idea for the split work day doesn't require dedicated Ros or CROs, there would be different ones each half day. So long as they communicate with each other when they take over or leave a stage, all is good.

But it is not! Personally I really don't want to land in a squad of people known for not patching or resetting stages. Why should I be doing all the work for them? How the MD is planning to address that issue, which in fact is more severe than the issue with the presumed cheating...

As Storm said, if cheating is not dealt with at the match it didn't happen. It is well covered in the rule book. You see it, report it up the chain, up to filing a 3rd party arbitration. But it has to happen at the match.

I corrected your post. 'covered well' = a well with a cover.

Mo, a whiner is someone who won't stop complaining about everybody else, but yet gets mad when they hear other people complain(Urban Dictionary). Maybe you should ask your crying fiend about the full story, which has nothing to do with Summer Slam or the topic being discussed.

I corrected your post.

Cheating happens for sure, in all games. It's fact we have to deal with. I've heard few stories of it and very obvious cheating at that...will not get into it here...

And I've seen it myself (I was not involved), and cause I was not standing right next to the situation, but nearby enough to have the idea of what happened (so 96.5% sure, but not 100%), I elected not to say something... Maybe that was wrong, but as stated not 100%... so....

I do agree with others, that it's very low % of happening, but also understand wanting to curb that from happening. There's time to reach out to other RO/CRO's coming to the match and see if anyone can stay and work a day ? Maybe you can manage to get the extra help and allow friendly squading.

I do appreciate that squading requests will at least be considered, and hope that after a few weeks, if any additional help comes in, you can oblige as many shooters as possible.

You boys already know my squading request, if going to be 19-20th.

Chris, renting RV, not worth it. Looked into it once, and way too F'n epensive.. It's cheaper to drive and stay at decent and even at fancy hotels for the rest of your life, then it would be to buy or rent an RV for trips.
Care/minivan, etc.. easier to get around, in & out of sight seeing places, cheaper on fuel, and convenience of NOT driving a bus around. Can crash at nice hotels near your destination or in between, with normal sized bathroom, and beds, etc...

Last year l stayed at the Heron's Nest. About 15min to the range and the ocean is across the street. Full house keeping cottage, two bed rooms, bbq etc. The people who run it are great they have an onsight brewery [ beer is excellant ] Chris great spot for kids as there is a park on the ocean and just outside town for shopping. Outside of a great match and touring the area not much else to do. They have a web site but book early if your interested.
