Can this thing shoot!

These are 5 round groups at 50m of get this,... CCI QUIET!
It's all I have at the present time, but I'm looking forward to getting some match ammo (and real targets lol) very soon. I was shooting at various things today, but these black medallions are a little over an inch.







Not too shabby for a 60 year old rifle with. 4x15mm scope whaa? I guess a triple lead lapped bore doesn't hurt ;)

I have to say this CCI Quiet is surpassing my expectations as every other gun I've use it in patterns them like whiff of grapeshot. The only negative is It gives me a consistent flyer almost every group, usually low and under powered, sometimes low left. More than acceptable for plinking. I seriously can't wait to try some "good ammo"!

Here is one more from this morning. Again a low flyer... But 5 shots went into a .260" group at 50m! The low left was the fifth shot... I had to send another to make it a five shot group lol...

Almost?? That is beach weather here. The girls would be out in bikinis if it was like that here lol.

Edit: Thats some great shooting form those quiets. I can't do that at 20 yards out of my guns with them lol. I ran a box through the chrony last summer and they were 590's to just over 700ish fps for me. How many inches of drop at 50 with those?

That's exactly how they performed in my savage mkII FVT, CZ scout, marlin 60... They have shot really poorly in everything but this thing. Maybe they like the 26" barrel? I don't know but I won't complain. It certainly is promising for match ammo though.

Zero'd at 25 they are dropping about 1.5" at 50, which is less than they dropped out of my M60 that's for sure. The M60 dropped them more like 2-3" at 50m. I haven't gone any farther than that. If/when I do go further it will be with some lapua or eley.
 
I'm always a bit weary when shooting that low powered ammo ever since I had a cci cb short not make it out of the barrel. I didn't realize that it didn't come out and I fired another one behind it. Put a ring/bulge in the barrel. Just something to keep in mind.

The Quiet 22 gives me one-ragged-hole groups with the Martini Model 12 at 25yds, but its definitely more like a pattern at 50.
I haven't tried it in my 60yr-old Savage/Stevens 87D yet, but your groups have inspired me to try.
Yesterday was a nice day here for sure.
