My first AR Sig M400 AR

Here's a video of my first AR.

I got the Sig. The brand name caught my attension as did the 1 in 7 twist. The buttstock is the only shaky part everything else is tight and high quality.



Anyone else got one? How do you like your Sig?
 
any chnace you could post a pic of a grouping at 100m? Ive been concidering buying one but not sure about accuracy?

Also as an FYI i cant view vids because of where I am ATM, so if youve already mentioned accuracy, then forget about me :p
 
Had my first shots with my first AR, a BCM Recce 16, last weekend out there at Big boot too. Meant to take a video too but forgot the camera. Hopefully this snow we've had won't keep us from getting out there this weekend, maybe a RO will be there so we can use the 100m range.

I'll try and get a few pictures up on groups but between work, the flu and bad weather I have gotten a chance yet.

Hopefully the range will be accessible this weekend.
 
I just took my first AR out today too! Sig M400 Enhanced. Threw on a Nikon P223 3X32mm before I took it out. Shot 200 rounds of AE Tactical 55grain .223 with no issues, gun ran flawless. .223 AE groups were terrible compared to the 5.56 S&B my brother in law had.

Top pink note is AE 55gr .223. Bottom - 5.56 S&B. Quick fire from bench block.

Rig. Sig makes a good product but the 2 cons on this M400 is the sloppy MOE stock on the Mil Spec buffer tube and the slide release fit is loose - worse with BAD lever installed. And because it has a weird machining for the ambi release, I had to straighten out BAD lever for it to not rub on the lower. Otherwise good AR for the price point - solid product from Sig as usual.

Good shooting. MOE stocks are always sloppy. If it bugs you a lot, upgrade to the CTR version. I don't think the Sig lower was design with the BAD lever in mind. It's raised around the ambi mag release to prevent accidental bumping due to the bigger profile of the lever.
