Magpul The art of the Precision Rifle

I bought it, but I got through the first dvd and that was kinda it. I find the sniper 101 videos on youtube far more informative.

Sniper 101 was very informative magpul dynamics still looks interesting though, hell of a lot better than watching real housewives of wherever with my wife upstairs.

as a novice/beginner of precision rifle shooting, personally i found alot of the magpul stuff way over my head. The sniper101 series has great technical info and the snipers hide short vids on body mechanics etc were way more beneficial to me in terms of how to lay/sit behind the rifle etc.

I have the entire Magpul set. Except the shooting from a helicopter lol. Clearly you guys that say you got nothing from it missed the drills dvds. Or your already that dam good lol.

Felt like a Horus advertisement. I learned that if you have an experienced spotter telling you exactly what to do, you too can make 1000 yard shots after emptying half a mag ;)

It's the spotter who makes majority of most shots in LR shooting.... At least in my experience. We usually agree to the first elevation/windage call, from there it's really up to the spotter, he's the one seeing the swirl for the windage and where it sorted taking its turn for the worse.

The sniper 101 series is excellent for information. Litz is great, but a little dry at some points. I haven't watched the magpul vids in entirety, must he sections I did see we're pretty cool, just a little showy.
