Thats HOT. The only change I'd make would be to throw a KX3 or the like on that. I like the MI forend. Have several of them.
223 upper was is fine but when i used it with 300blk i found that it was interfering with the cycling of the bolt.
It seems with mine it was just touching the bolt and slowing it down enough to cause cycling probs.
Since i removed the bad lever my subs espcecailly have cycled even down to 11gr of A1680 (bho is nother issue, mag related in my case)

Replaced Dlash brake with Brakeout 51T muzzle brake.
I have found that the large diameter muzzle devices like the KX3 work really well on the 300 BLK. With subsonics you can almost shoot the thing without hearing protection ... almost. I'm not sure the BLK has enough oomph to need a brake.
Noveskes' new KX5 should work well under some of the newer key-mod styled rail systems now out. I just secured an upper, so I may be on my way to a 9-10.5" .300BLK build sooner than anticipated.

Did a little playing with the 300BLK and the 208gr loads today.
All cycled well but accuracy at 100yds was around 4 inches +/- so more work is needed but had fun anyway. Found that with my scope zeroed at 100yds with 110gr V-max I had to come up to approximately the 350yd mark on my reticle when shooting the 208's.
Ran a couple mags of 110gr V-max loads and a couple 110gr Hornady FMJ'S (the funny flat nose ones). Didn't bother testing my 150gr FMJ loads since I was getting cold and didn't feel like walking out to set up new targets.

I got a question about these - is that a barrel shroud at the end of the muzzle or a fake can? What about muzzle blast with these shorties - is there any flash suppression? I am a slow fire geek so I also have to ask - is this a good candidate for that '3 Gun' stuff they do in the States? Do we do that here...? I shoot a Tavor and it is pretty damn stubby - but I will bet you a dollar to a donut that one is even shorter! Can you fire it one handed easily? What kind of accuracy do they get? It looks like more fun than a barrel of monkeys...
That's a Noveske linear compensator brake/flash hider called the Flaming Pig. Great for flash supression and redirects the muzzle blast forward so folks adjacent to you don't get disturbed. The SBR makes a great tool where mobility is required. If you're in the US, barrels under 16" required a $200.(?) NFA tax stamp so as a Canadian traveling to competitions in the US, a 16" barrel will be less paperwork. Folks have been shooting out to 300yrds with good accuracy with these puppies.
^^^, damn sweet! I got to get me a PWS! Does your shooting neighbours complain about the noise from the Triad? I got one that's going on my current build.
The Triad is fine on the 300BLK, I also have one on my PWS Mk112 223 and it's not too loud, I had a Rainier Arms mini comp on the 112 and it was way too loud, not just for the neighbors but also for the shooter. The mini comp is fine on 14.5 inch or longer though. It's on my 18.5 inch ACR now.
I really need to learn to slow down when I'm shooting. This was off a rest at 100yds with my PWS Mk109 9.75 inch barrel. Those are one inch squares and I had just installed my Hi-Lux CMR with AK reticle.
There are 10 shots there and I had one to the right I blame myself for and the two separate groups... well I guess that's me getting used to the new reticle.
110gr V-max over 19.4gr of H110 seems to be the winner for this barrel.
Next time I have it out I'll try to put a couple 10 round groups on a couple targets and get them a lot closer.

Thanks! Just what I wanted to hear. I was about to go looking for a linear comp if I go to 10.3"

Faaack, that is almost identical to mine. I also have a Spikes lower and the MI forend. Biggest difference is I don't run optics on mine and I don't have a fore grip.
