I went back out tonight after work for an evening sit. Setup and started calling right away with my ecaller as the wind was picking up pretty good. I hung the ecaller on a tree branch out in front and to my right about 20 yds away. Within the first 5 minutes of dying rabbit I had this coyote come running out and it just kept coming, I wolf him once and he stops but was behind some brush, 10 seconds later he started moving again, I wolfed him again and again he stops. He turned to face me, was in the clear so took the easy 85 yd chest shot. Dropped him in his tracks…. Redemption is a good thing… :)

A nice healthy male

Nice. If all works out I'll be trying out my Foxpro for the first time this weekend. Temperature's supposed to hold at about -15 for Saturday. First weekend I've had free where temps are higher than mid -20's here. #### this winter.

Awesome, he looks real dark in the photo.

My WFII + Foxjack came last night so I'm going to try it out this weekend.

This is great inspiration.....keep em comin.

Congrats fratri...Thanks for taking the time from one of those great winter hobbies(hunting coyotes) and posting results
for those who can not get out or the conditions are far from perfect for hunting coyotes.
Good write up and nice picture of the gun, shooter and results !

I do like the colouring on this one too. Most around my area seem to be a lot lighter in tone.

Congrats bud , the temps never dropped below -18 here and then there was a north/west wind too. Went out anyway but I forgot the remote to the call in my travel bag, jumping the gun on packing. Its up to you guys now as I'm headed south and may try bob cats and coyotes there for a day...

Good luck down that way and be sure to posts some pics. :)
