I will be checking a number of websites and placing a WTB if need be, but if anyone has seen any 348 brass, please let me know. I just got, after a long search, my Browning Model 71 and will need some brass.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've picked up dies and bullets at various gunshows over the years, but just need the brass

I've found lots of ammo but no brass, Barton's Big Country in Grande Prairie had ammo a couple months ago. As of last week they had Hornady bulletts

The 348 is a necked down 50-70 size of case. Bigger than the 45-70 at the base.
Let us know where you find some brass. I could use some of it myself.
It's still being made because it makes a good parent case for some big thumper wildcats and the like. 50 Alaskan comes to mind.

You could buy Starline 50 Alasken and form it. The other option is to find someone that can bring in Quality Cartridge brass and get some of theirs.

close, but no cigar.
It's based on the 50-110 cartridge

It is also very handy for making up new .50-110 when your old ones start to split.

Also makes very nice Beaumont, Vetterli (Italian), Vetterli (Swiss), Lebel, 12.17x44R Norski ........ oh, so many more.

I ordered 100 rounds a year ago, still waiting. Beaumont is hungry.

The ninth place I called had 3 bags in stock. I bought 2 of them.
No need to make the brass, not that it was may favorite option.
I would have bought 348 ammo for the brass if I had to.
Thanks to all that sent me PMs and posted trying to help.
Lots of great resources and people here on CGN

All this talk about .348 got me thinking I should see if I could find some as well. Lucked out & scored two bags. Like smelie said, it's good for making all sorts of stuff. For me, it's 450 Alaskan, 43 Spanish, and 12.17x44, and a few others.
