10 rnd mag in AR15 rifle?

Just make sure the mag shows it is a pistol mag.

Magazines designed for one firearm but used in a different firearm
The maximum permitted capacity of a magazine is determined by the kind of firearm it is designed or manufactured for use in and not the kind of firearm it might actually be used in. As a consequence, the maximum permitted capacity remains the same regardless of which firearm it might be used in.
Example:
The Marlin model 45 (Camp Carbine) rifle chambered for 45 Auto caliber uses magazines designed and manufactured for the Colt 1911 handgun, therefore the seven round and eight round capacities are permitted. A similar example is the 10 round capacity magazine for the Rock River Arms LAR-15 pistol, regardless of the kind of firearm it is actually used in.
...actually, rereading the web page, although it mentions "Magazines for semiautomatic handguns which contain more than ten (10) rounds of a different calibre" and cites an example where more than 10 rounds of 9mm can legally be put in a magazine designed for .40.... it keeps using the word "handgun" in the example.
It's the same principle with the Beowulf.... but ... it doesn't specifically cite the Beowulf example.

Yeah, haha, don't want to mislead the guy and he goes off repinning all his 30 round P-Mags to 10 round limits
IMO you should wait and purchase AT15 mags from ATRS when their next order comes in instead of the LAR mags.

So where can I get 10 round Pmags? Magpul makes 10 round Pmags for .223 pistol no?

Yes they make 10rnd pmags. No they do NOT make ones marked for pistol use. That is the key point here, in order for 10rnd pmags to be legal in Canada they would have to be labelled for pistol use only.

Which makes the ATRS polymer pistol nags the best deal going. The second gen version should be even better.

Absolutely. I love my AT-15 mags and have never had a hiccup with them.
That's the point - a couple of months wait is still better then the LAR option. Again, only my 2cents on the subject.
I know you're right, i own 8 of those mags, but some people cant wait...
